Robin Hood Panto 2010
Our panto this year – Robin Hood by Graham J Evans – was great fun and a huge success. To avoid disappointing potential audience Robin Hood ran for 4 nights. This was in response to the record ticket sales for last year’s panto “Jack and The Beanstalk”, when we had to turn audience away!
Of course, as has become tradition, Friday and Saturday nights included a Fish ‘n Chip supper, but on Thursday we had Pizza, Chips & Dips, to give folk the opportunity of something different. This option seemed to go down pretty well with our audience!
The cast and crew for this lively production numbered over 40 and included a very energetic and talented junior chorus aged 9 - 16 who injected their own special energy into the show!
All of the cast put on great performances, but special mention should go to Pete Osmond who, aged 18, was our youngest ever Dame and played the part beautifully.
We’ve come to expect great sets, scenery and costume – and we were not let down at all – as you’ll see in the pictures.
We hope those who came to see it will agree it was a great show [and judging by the number of very complementary comments received we know many did], and we hope to see full houses again in 2011 for our first panto on the new permanent stage – Oh yes we do!!
